When it comes to creating a stylish and functional living space, the right furniture can make all the difference. For 21 years, BoConcept has been bringing Danish design to the people of Scotland to have, enjoy and go through life with for years to come. Through those years, we have seen furniture that has become iconic in their own right. Here is our list of the top 5 BoConcept pieces past and present, handpicked by interior designers who know how to turn a house into a home.

1. Salamanca

One of our newest designs, Salamanca is already making big waves in our showrooms across Scotland. From its floating appearance to its large, forgiving cushions, Salamanca is quickly becoming one of our most popular designs, even though it was only launched a few months ago.

2. Xtra footstool

Xtra has been a firm favourite amongst our designers for a number of years, purely down to it’s clever design. Showing clients Xtra’s party trick is always fun, as many don’t realise a small footstool could quickly turn into a full-size bed. This, coupled with the full range of cover options means that Xtra is a stylish yet practical addition to any ho

3. Amsterdam

Amsterdam is by far and away our most popular sofa amongst our design team. The brilliant blend of relaxed comfort and lightweight looks mean that Amsterdam is hard to beat when it comes to style. The trope of comfy sofas having to be large and chunky is beaten with Amsterdam, with metal legs lifting the frame for a lighter look, and soft down backrests allowing a slouchy yet minimal aesthetic to give the Amsterdam a 10/10 in the looks department. Yet still, most of our designers commented that Amsterdam would be their top choice in comfort as well, which is a high accolade indeed.

4. Como

You will find Como in many of our designer’s own homes, because of the vast array of practical options that are available. Our team have commented that it is difficult to find storage similar to Como, with the same options and colourways that Como provides. Ideal for narrow spaces or even as standalone statement walls, Como allows you to unlock your home’s storage potential, while keeping a stylish aesthetic throughout.

5. Imola

Perhaps the most recognisable and iconic of the BoConcept designs, Imola still looks as timeless and imposing as when it was first conceived nearly 15 years ago. Inspired by the construction of a tennis ball, Imola has become the flagship model for BoConcept, symbolising our company values of living extraordinarily.

These top selections showcase the brand's commitment to quality, innovation, and customisation, making it a go-to choice for those looking to elevate their interior design game.
