MEET THE TEAM
I have been the manager at BoConcept Edinburgh since opening the doors in 2016. With over fifteen years experience in retail management, providing exceptional customer service is such an important aspect of my role. This has also helped me to build a strong team of designers.
It is so important for us to achieve an unforgettable experience for each and every client who visit us at the Studio.
I strongly believe that every interior should be as unique as the people using the space, so I love helping our clients find pieces that reflect their personalities.
BA (Hons) Costume Design and Construction
Andie started as a Design Consultant in the Edinburgh Store in December 2016 and became Design Manager of Glasgow in 2019.
BA (Hons) Painting and Printmaking
I joined the BoConcept team in 2018. Since graduating I have participated in several exhibitions including showcasing my work at the National Gallery of Scotland with the Royal Scottish Society of Artists Specialising in Watercolour. I love painting in my spare time and displaying my artwork in my own home, bring a splash of colour to my interiors.
I think our interiors say a lot about ourselves and I love to get to know my clients and help them to create a space which reflects them. I think having a space you feel comfortable and happy in is so important for your wellbeing, it also makes coming back to your home at the end of a long day feel that little bit more special.
I’m a Contract Designer at BoConcept in Edinburgh and my role is to help people to create a perfect environment to grow and develop their business. I’m passionate about simple and functional design as well as local creative communities. To provide a platform to connect with like-minded individuals and bring the design industry together I’ve started BoBreakfast, a monthly event hosted by BoConcept Scotland for the Edinburgh community with aim to share good practice and knowledge.
I’ve also run Polymorphics, an independent company specializing in design and handcrafting contemporary home objects. Along that I’m a tutor hosting a number of creative workshops at We Make; a studio/ workshop / retail space based in central Edinburgh.
Starting in 2021, I am one of the newest members of the team at BoConcept Scotland, and am also studying textile design at Heriot Watt University. Having worked in customer service for seven years, I am passionate about helping people find exactly what they need, and I pride myself in being client focused.
I believe there is no rules to design, and the most interesting rooms always have elements of one’s personality. This new decade has taught us what is important, and for me it has been creating the best of both worlds, a home to socialise with loved ones as well as creating sanctuary away from the world.
Having experience in textiles, I have an appreciation for quality fabrics that go hand in hand with the great quality furniture at BoConcept.
Born in Sweden, I moved to Scotland in 2012. I joined BoConcept in 2021, currently being one of the newest designers on the team. However, I am an interior designer with over 6 years of industry experience. Graduating from the University of Edinburgh, I have been involved in multiple interior design projects: renovating a bar, creating brand-new spaces for air-bnb’s and more.
When not designing, I enjoy lengthy nature walks, travelling, photography and of course dogs. Dogs in any form, I love them all. And lucky me – BoConcept allows dogs in our Edinburgh shop!
My favourite piece from BoConcept is the Imola swivel chair. Not only is it super comfortable but it is also an elegant statement piece. I could sit and read in it for days…
I read somewhere that we spend almost 90% of our days indoors. With this in mind, I am aiming to help people get their dream interior, so that we feel that when we are at home, we are loving every second of it. Our surroundings affect our wellbeing more than we think, so I truly believe that investing in interiors that will make us happy is an investment worth making!
