The Crescent, West Coates

An open-plan property located within the prestigious Donaldson's Estate, Jade Gargano worked with her client to create a design that emulates Scandinavian living. This space is designed in the Calming Neutrals trend expression. A warm and natural expression, harsher whites are swapped for warmer, creamier hues. Colour inspiration comes from the environment and nature, and fabrics are soft and immersive.

Merchiston Residence

"The clients had already renovated the top two floors of their home before progressing to the design of the ground floor. They came in-store in search of a desk for their office space and decided they wanted to utilise the design service for the planned redesign of their ground floor. Their brief was a neutral palette with pops of colour brought through accessories and artwork. They were quite happy to receive recommendations on colours/materials and products from our collection. Before the planned home visit, the client was set on a dining scheme but asked me to bring out as many options as possible for the other spaces and furniture pieces. Through trial and error and some decision-making, the design came together.

The client has used us before and has numerous items throughout their home. They were excited to take advantage of the free interior design service and get the cohesive look that they envisaged in their new space."

Newington Townhouse

"A modern townhouse built within the grounds of a former school building. The space needed to be a versatile, multifunctional space full of life and colour to reflect the client's personalities.

The clients like to relax, entertain and work in their home, so needed a space that could easily adapt to multiple uses. Soft, textural fabrics were chosen with luxurious finishes with bold shapes and colours that create a sense of drama in the space."

Waterfront Private Hospital

For the newly acquired premises of a private medical company, the clients needed furniture that not only provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere, but also met the strict requirements of what the nature of the business demands. Using specialist fabrics that can be bleach-washed, plus designs that are highly durable and easy to maintain, the overall look still maintained the classic BoConcept ethos of uncompromised style and sophistication.

THE MILL, EAST KINHARRACHIE

"Annie Kenyon Developments launch East Kinharrachie, a development of five architecturally designed homes on the edge of Ellon. ak|d are transforming this site from a redundant farm steading into a stunning development of five bespoke homes with character. This development has a mix of conversions and new build properties.

Designed for contemporary living and family life, each home has a unique layout designed specifically for the site and setting; maximising natural light, views and space. A mix of materials such as stone, slate, render and cladding compliments the simple, clean designs and glass features showcase light, bright and expansive living spaces.

"Annie Kenyon Design were completing a build of The Mill, and the brief was to create a bespoke design for the newly completed, architecturally designed home by ak|d. The brief also had to showcase high-end comfort and design conveyed through the design home. Our job was to translate this through the furniture with inviting and timeless Danish design. Creating a luxurious welcoming atmosphere that showcased and played homage to the architectural design of the build."

With a unique living space, challenging room layouts, and existing bold elements, our task was to create a light and modern ambience with pops of colour. The family of four required flexible spaces for both shared and private activities, accommodating guests and individual needs.
